Slovenian Customs donated software to Montenegro Customs
With the donation of the modules Risk Analysis System (SAT) and Business Rules System (SPP) the Slovenian Customs wish to contribute to the modernisation of the customs information system in Montenegro.
On 8 December 2011 the Directors-General of the Slovenian and Montenegro Customs Rajko Skubic and Božidar Vuksanović meet at the General Customs Directorate in Ljubljana. On this occasion they signed an agreement on non-refundable assistance namely of software modules Risk Analysis System (SAT) and Business Rules System (SPP).
Rajko Skubic, Director-General of the Slovenian Customs stressed that the experience of the Slovenian Customs in the EU will help the Montenegro Customs to establish their automated risk analysis system and business rules system. Montenegro will therefore adapt to the customs information system of the EU easier and faster.
The modules SAT and SPP enable a modern way of customs clearance. The end result is less control of the documentation and of goods. Consequently the existing controls are more focused. The main advantage for the business is less time needed for the clearance of goods.
Estimated value of the donation is 850.000 EUR.
In 2009 The Slovenian Customs donated TARIC computer application to the Montenegro Customs with estimated value of 320.000 EUR.
